Concept:
With 118 (one-one-eight), we want to create a space where people involved in different scenes can gather freely to interact, collaborate and inspire each other.
The name of this event derives from the number 18, which is read “Ohako” in classic Kabuki terminology. It can loosely be translated as a someone’s specialty, favourite performance item, or something in which they are particularly skilled.
The addition of 1 to 18 reflects adding something more to one’s specialty through inspiration and change in perspective.
